FARMBOOKS TAX TABLE UPDATE INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONSStep 1: Download the tax update Step 1: Download the tax update 1: Download the Tax Table Update file here. You may either save the file to your system or run it directly from the link.
2: Run the setup file. If you saved the file to your system, locate the setup.exe and double click it to run. If you choose to run the setup file without saving it first, you may need to verify the install by clicking the Run button. 3: When you see the Welcome screen, click Next. 4: Accept the License Agreement and click Next. 5: Confirm where you want to install the update files. The install will default to C:\FarmBooks. You may either select this and click Next or choose an alternate destination and then click Next. If you have any questions please call or email support. 6: Confirm the installation by clicking Install. This will place the TAXRATE.ADI and TAXRATE.ADT into the necessary folder. 7: Click Finish. At this point, you have the new tax table install on your local machine. From within the application, the update is actually applied to your farm database. Now proceed to Step 2 to complete the installation. Step 2: Run the Update Tax Tables from within the Application 1. From the File Menu: Close Farm 2. From the File Menu: Backup (Important- Make a Backup of your database) 3. From the Utilities menu: Update Tax Table
4. Open a Farm 5. From the Setup Menu: Tax Table
6. From the File Menu: Payroll Calendar Year End
